In Vitro Transcription and RNA Research
In Vitro Transcription Kits
A P266L T7 RNA Polymerase Transcription Kit reaction produces high specific-activity radiolabeled-RNA probes (labeled-NTP not included). The P266L RNA Polymerase contained in the kit is a mutant form of phage T7 RNA Polymerase1. The P266L mutation markedly decreases abortive transcription initiation events - and concomitant production of short 5- to 8-nucleotide abortive RNA transcripts - that can occur with the wild-type T7 RNA polymerase.
